# Introduction

NetBook is a ML Infrastructure management platform. It provides one-stop dashboard for managing usage of servers across on-premise and cloud providers which in-turn leads to better resource utilization and resource collaboration. NetBook also provides you with additional cloud governance tools - Timeouts, billing alerts and cloud usage information to entire team.

#### What to do with NetBook? :woman\_shrugging:

Using NetBook, you can spawn workspaces and schedule machine learning training jobs across multiple cloud providers or on-premise/co-locating servers - that too from a unified portal - to optimize your resource allocation and costs - And s*ave some bucks!* :money\_mouth:

### NetBook for Data Scientists :bar\_chart:

Research shows that Data Scientists lose 15% of their working time due to infrastructure related issues. But with NetBook, we bring to you,

* Single-click spawning of workspaces/code-environments across hardware on any cloud or on-premise servers
* Automatic job scheduler to remove bottlenecks and time wasted due to manual server collaboration
* Shareable project environments to avoid dependency bottlenecks

### NetBook for IT Professionals :desktop:

With advanced ML architectures and huge training times, IT teams find it hard to manage their server statistics. Using NetBook, they have,

* Central dashboard to monitor resource/cost-utilization of servers across any cloud or on-premise servers
* Real-time reporting and custom alerts, scheduling start/stop of servers to keep cloud billing on check :bell:
